Dollar Tree Poinsettia Wreath

This tutorial is about my poinsettia wreath that I made earlier this month. I did not use all Dollar Tree products for that wreath.. this trip will use mostly Dollar Tree products. I am using a combination of designs to make this wreath.

Here is the first poinsettia wreath I made!

This video shows the supplies needed. Please count on using more mesh than is pictured or taped. I will have a complete count of everything I used at the end of the video.

This video shows how to attach the plastic canvas to the wreath.

Here is the hot pink and white poinsettia wreath in progress.

Here is the back side of the wreath. You can see how many bundles are in each section. I have 4 pieces of mesh in each bundle.

Dollar Tree Crafts: Wreaths

Decorative Mesh wreaths have become the rage amongst crafters now. YouTube has an abundance of new videos featuring multiple methods to create these beauties. I had to try the wreaths. I admit the wreaths are very time consuming, but well worth the effort. I have made 2 so far with many more in my future. I do have my wreaths for sale in my Facebook group "Fairy Bee Designs". This could be a winter themed wreath. I am not sure that I will continue with this wreath. It will have to be decorated.

Cricut Explore: Wood Signs

I think I have finally figured out how to make wood signs with my Cricut Explore machine. I was using vinyl to make my stencils for the signs. This was not working very well. The final would not stick to the wood and it was very expensive. I went to Walmart and bought contact paper in a wood grain and clear contact paper. I now use these to make the stencils for my signs. I also use Ace brand spray paint. If I want to sign with two colors , I spray the color that I want the words in first. Identify my cut out vinyl image. I allowed wood to dry for 30 minutes. I then apply my image. I spray the final coat spray paint and allowed to dry for 30 minutes. I peel the vinyl image.
